The Town of Chrisney recently started a shared use trail, that while beautiful and easy to use, was difficult to get to unless by car. With the help of Erin Meyer and the Welborn Baptist Foundation’s Healthy Eating, Active Living Grant, the trail is now accessible to all!

Holly Catron, the Community Wellness Coordinator from Boone County learned of a Placemaking grant received by The Heart of Lebanon board that the board had not discovered a use for. After conducting an assessment, Holly Catron suggested the funding be used to implement a downtown community garden, and the board readily agreed.
